100 BLACK MEN OF SOUTH FLORIDA
ELECTS 2007-2009 LEADERSHIP TEAM
---NEW MEMBERS ADDED TO ROSTER OF MENTORING
ORGANIZATION--
MIAMI GARDENS—Recently, the 100
Black Men of South Florida, Inc. held its annual
meeting on the campus of
St. Thomas University
in Miami Gardens. The organization’s
Executive Committee and Board of Directors were
elected to direct programming for a period for
two years. The organization also added nearly
a dozen new members to its roster.
For the 2007-2009 term, the following members of
the Executive Committee were elected: Bobby Hall, President; Ellis
Adger, Jr., Vice President of Operations; Colin
Ramsey, Vice President of Programs; Jonathan
Dotson, Vice President of Development; Clifford
Thomas, Secretary; Steven Henriquez, Treasurer
and Marc Henderson, Parliamentarian.
Elections were also held to name the Board of Directors. The
following members were elected: Rayfield McGhee,
Jr. (Chairman); Kervin Clenance, Dr.
Harold Guinyard; William “Bill” Simmons and V.T. Williams.
The 100 Black Men of South Florida, Inc. is a non-profit
organization created to positively impact the lives
of the young African American male youth of this
community, through mentoring, intellectual development
and the fostering of economic, health and life enriching
opportunities.
