Under
the leadership of Committee Chairperson Melvin C. Dennis,
the 100 has awarded scholarships over the past three
(3) years totaling more than $75,000.00. The members
have themselves committed to funding scholarships for
progam participants. These personal commitments have
served as the foundation on which strategic corporate
partnerships have been built. Among our partners are
Coca Cola, UPS, Alonzo Mourning Charities, Anheuser Busch
and their Urban Scholars Program along with the Phillip
Morris USA Foundation.
